Product Innovation
The future success of Einhell is based on continual development of our innovative products. Einhell works tirelessly to bring new products to market which are truly unique. All product innovation is directed at making work easier by finding the ideal combination of aesthetics and functionality. New, innovative features ensure sustained differentiation from the competition and help us to retain our strong global market position. Interdisciplinary teams made up of industrial design, engineering, sales and marketing experts work to implement these goals.
Product Development
Experienced experts from all departments work together as a team to bring new products to life. We view our customers as partners in the development process, and we include them in our product development activities at an early stage. This enables us to design products that meet the needs of our customers, and it ensures that our product strategy is aligned with market trends. Our focus on the consumer at the heart of our development process has made us one of the most responsive companies in the industry. Our goal is to be faster, more flexible and more creative than our competitors.
Production
Einhell employs a mixture of in-house and controlled outsourced production in order to ensure we stay as innovative, flexible and competitive as we need to be in today's market. We produce primarily in China, but also across various other markets in Asia and Europe. Whilst all of our product design and development takes place in Germany, our Shanghai office with more than 200 employees plays the critical role of ensuring that all our production partners meet the highest possible standards. Our in-house testing lab carries out more than 100 testing procedures per month, in addition to all the regulatory testing bodies we work with. On site at the factories, we employ both German and local experts using stringent criteria to check the quality of the goods we buy.
Quality
Our high standard of innovation and quality is based on our in-house development team, collaboration with external partners and a strong quality assurance program. In order to maintain a presence in close proximity to the production sites and react with lightening speed to customer preferences, we have massively expanded our quality assurance operations and relocated parts of our engineering department to Shanghai. German engineers and technicians work on site to ensure that products are made strictly in accordance with Einhell guidelines. Einhell quality checks are based on stringent standards and guidelines, and they continue to evolve. Qualified Einhell technicians coordinate and retain responsibility for all of these activities
Environment
Einhell is committed to the following principles to ensure we limit any damage to the environment:
- We must not knowingly introduce products into the market that pose a hazard to property or users, are highly dangerous or damage the environment. Neither turnover nor profit considerations may be allowed to impinge on this basic principle.
- All product packaging will be as small as possible. We will never use more packaging material than is absolutely necessary.
- Our packaging contains as much recycled material as possible.
- We use recycled plastic on a number of our products.
- We use alternative materials to minimize the use of Styrofoam.
- All waste material will be sorted and sent for recycling.
- We work together with certified material recycling companies.
